KIX Africa 19 Hub Brief on Preventing School-Related Gender-Based Violence KIX Learning Event from UNICEF ESARO
As the KIX Africa 19 Hub looks forward to hosting several knowledge and innovation exchange events in the coming weeks and months including three workshops on Employing Research for Policies and Practices starting this Thursday on April 28, a national dialogue in Malawi on May 19, as well as the KIX Africa 19+21 Learning Series on Scaling Impact in Education in June, the Hub would like to share a knowledge product developed from a previous learning event.
Last December, KIX Africa 19 Hub Consortium Partner UNICEF ESARO hosted a learning series on Preventing and Responding to SRGBV bringing together participants to share promising practices and experience as well as brainstorm solutions. A summary brief of these discussions has been developed to capture some of the overall findings which indicate a continued need to strengthen the strategy and capacity to address SRGBV in national policies and to recognize the need for holistic approaches and responses to mitigate its impact on children for more information and a continued.
